While many homebuilders get by with following the minimum required building specs, that’s not us. We stand by our high building standards to ensure your home will last for years to come. Our goal is to make a solid, energy-efficient home that you can afford to live in.

Meet Our Team
Tyrone Stucker
Tyrone Stucker, principal owner of the company, started in the building industry in 1993, working on a framing crew building custom homes, and has since learned about all aspects of the construction process. In 2007, he started Southern Dream Home Builders. Tyrone’s approach to building is to work directly with his customers. He will oversee the entire project from start to finish, from planning to on-site supervision. In fact, that is what sets Southern Dream Home Builders apart. You will communicate directly with Tyrone throughout the entire process and get an immediate decision because there is no “middleman” between you and the contractor.
Lawrence Cutshaw
Lawrence Cutshaw, Tyrone’s father-in-law, brings over 60 years of experience in the construction industry as a master carpenter. Lawrence worked many years in Asheville, NC, as a finish carpenter in multi-million dollar homes in the affluent town of Biltmore Forest, which borders the Biltmore Estate. Fine detailed finish work is his specialty, but he is experienced in every aspect of the building process from the ground up.
Caleb Tweed
Caleb Tweed is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a degree in Construction Management. He has been with Southern Dream Home Builders for over six years. Caleb brings hard work and dedication to our team with skills ranging from carpentry to operating heavy equipment.
Dahn Stucker
Dahn Stucker, Tyrone’s wife, works as the Operations Manager, handling the company's administrative duties as well as customer relations, design coordination, and advertising.
